ADJUST THE POSITION SUB-WOOFER BOX

Friday, November 20, 2009 ·

Sub-woofer is a name often used by people working in the audio world.
Actually the name is intended to loud speaker box that has a relatively large size drifer large-diameter drivers and can produce low frequencies with a relatively high SPL, according to the formula that the wavelength is the speed of sound in air divided by the frequency is then:

340 Hz frequency wavelength
Length of 340 meters / second divided by 340 Hz = 1 meter
34 Hz frequency wavelength
Length of 340 meters / second divided by 34 Hz = 10 meters

Sub-woofers usually produce normal sound frequencies below 300 Hz and was certainly not directed to specific areas (omni directional) so if we see someone who
direct sub-woofer of course it is only intended for its visual beauty alone is not to direct the sound
One way to direct the sound from the sub-woofer box to put them one by one with a certain distance of over 2 m series and placed in one location

CONCLUSION
If there is only 1 piece sub-woofer bokz it can be ascertained at the spread of the sound is directional omno (spread out in all directions), but if bayank-box sub-woofer box and arranged with a certain distance so the sound will be different penyebayan ..

good luck .....
